I flew to Punta Cana exited about my very long waited vacation after 2.5yrs. The first day there I was ill and spent time in hospital at Punta Cana. I was let out to fly home. Doctor said I needed to fly first class or fly with my legs elevated. I had a letter from Doctor stating I needed this in order to fly back. Air Transat had no first class flights back to Toronto. They did offer me three seats as flight was not full to have a legs elevated.
The Flight was delayed then cancelled. We flew out the next day at 12:30 noon.
This flight they were unable to offer me three seats and had no first class flights back. I tried to change my flight, the people at Air Tran sat would not help me or even talk to me to change flights.They told me I had to fly home on this flight. I had an Air Tan sat representative visit me while in the hospital. She assured me if there was anything they could do to help me they would. She gave me her business card. I called her when Air Tran sat kiosk people at the airport terminal would not talk to me she told me I should of planned my return flight home better and she could not help me and hung up the phone. I felt totally let down by the Air lines and hurt by them for not even offering me a solution or would not even help with flying back at a later time.
I will not be flying Air Tran sat again. Their customer service is terrible.
