There some good things about Virgin Atlantic but they all disappear to moment you leave the airport lounge.
Slotted in like battery hens, no privacy, hard narrow and uncomfortable bed. Add to this cheap food, served to an inflexible schedule by an indifferent impersonal crew...
The fairly new aircraft is already somewhat tatty with chipped facials and duct tape holding up inoperable tables. The overall experience is one of cost cutting to create a substandard product that does not merit being classed as business class.
Virgin Atlantic compares very unfavourable with the other airlines with whom I travel regularly to Australia....Etihad, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Asiana, Virgin Australia, Malaysian are all infinitely better.
Even Vietnam with whom I travelled last year was half the price and twice as comfortable...and with decent food and service.
Virgin Atlantic has a truly awful product. Avoid at all costs.
